ItsMadeCreatively’s bear-y cute mascot, Beasley, was once again seen at Texas Motor Speedway for a weekend of NASCAR fun! The adventure kicked off on Thursday evening when Beasley arrived to see the Parade of Haulers pass by right in front of where she was sitting. Amid all of the train-sounding honks from the trucks, Beasley posed for a quick photo with Joey Logano’s hauler as it passed by. On Friday, Beasley toured the Fan Zone just outside the track, gathering all sorts of great prizes and then watched the Monster Energy cars run qualifying laps around the track. Afterwards, she stayed to watch the Camping World Trucks run the JAG Metals 350! Finally on Sunday, Beasley attended the AAA Texas 500 and got to watch all of her favorite Monster Energy NASCAR Cup series drivers zoom around the track! It was a hot afternoon, but Beasley stayed cool with her Racing Fans made by ItsMadeCreatively! All in all, it was an amazing weekend!
Trick or treat! It’s Halloween time and Beasley is ready to collect some candy in her mini pumpkin bucket! This year, she is wearing a new costume – a homemade tulle pixie tutu with sparkly wings, flower accents and glitzy gold waistband. All you need is faith, trust, and a little Beasley dust!
Happy Halloween from ItsMadeCreatively!
This summer was quite a busy one for Beasley! Thousands of miles were traveled as Beasley visited seven different states and stopped for photos at many famous landmarks, iconic locations and interesting places. Maybe you’ve been to one of the places Beasley went this summer! Check out the photos below…
Stay tuned for more exciting adventures with Beasley coming soon!
This weekend, Beasley went on a grand adventure to Texas Motor Speedway to watch the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 race! With windchills in the low 40s, she brought along her new handmade coat to stay warm while exploring the many speedway sights. First, was a photo on the Texas Motor Speedway sign, just outside of Gate 6. After spinning countless prize wheels and winning all kinds of free goodies from the sponsor booths that lined the outside of the speedway, Beasley posed for a photo in front of the merchandise trailer for the Penske drivers! Drivers were signing autographs, answering questions from fans but the best part of all was when Beasley got to sit on Joey Logano’s AAA race car!
Although much warmer weather was expected, Beasley still brought along her ItsMadeCreatively “Cool” Racing Fans! If you missed the blog post that announced these innovative paper fans, check it out here. These three cleverly-designed paper fans let fellow race spectators know that not only are you cool (i.e. awesome) but when using these fans, you’re also much cooler (I.e. temperature ) than they are! Assembly instructions are included. All you’ll need is card stock paper, scissors and large self-adhesive tip craft sticks. We recommend laminating the fan for added durability before attaching to the craft stick. Get your “Cool” Racing Fans today for the next NASCAR race you attend!
Happy Easter from Beasley and the team at ItsMadeCreatively! In her Easter basket today, Beasley found an adorable pair of green bunny ears that were just her size. Perfectly matching her Easter dress, she posed for a photo with her new little bunny friend.
Next week, Beasley will be at Texas Motor Speedway for the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 race!
Picture this… You’re sitting in the stands under a blazing sun watching your favorite stock car driver zoom around the track. There isn’t a breath of wind and you’re pretty sure you’re slowly melting into a puddle of sweat. But wait, what’s this? The NASCAR fan next to you is barely sweating and doesn’t smell like a 3-day-old pair of socks! How can this be? What secret to staying cool do they know that you have yet to uncover? Then you see it. In their hand is a punny paper fan that claims they are cool – both in temperature and in awesomeness! Desperate for relief, you inquire as to where they came by such a desirable item and learn it’s the newest product from ItsMadeCreatively. They go on to say that printing and assembling the fan was a breeze – no pun intended. Just when you think you’re doomed to perennial perspiration beside this refreshed race fan, they pull a second fan out of their bag and give it to you! Suddenly, a cool breeze floats across your moist brow bringing relief from the sweltering heat like jumping into a swimming pool. Visiting ItsMadeCreatively’s website and getting these paper fans for yourself quickly jumps to the top of your To-Do list before next week’s race! And maybe bring a few extras – just in case you find yourself sitting next to a sweaty spectator that reminds you of your former self before owning some of ItsMadeCreatively’s “Cool” Race Fans!
Disclaimer: While our paper fans are indeed awesome, they are not guaranteed to make you stop sweating or smell better! Also, we cannot guarantee that the race fan next to you will have an extra ItsMadeCreatively paper fan to share with you. Be that person who shares with others!

There it is, folks! That small brown Operation Christmas Child shipping carton stacked with many, many other cartons on a trailer destined for the Processing Center is filled with the 23 precious shoeboxes that MadeCreatively made this year using the profits from our Shoebox Packing Party products! To which country did those shoeboxes go? Mexico.
Here on the left, Beasley is filling out an Operation Christmas Child “Let’s Be Friends!” coloring page to put inside her tiny shoebox! Isn’t she simply adorable in her little Santa hat?
On the right, Beasley is sitting atop the Samaritan’s Purse shipping carton that is filled with ItsMadeCreatively’s 23 shoeboxes created with the profits from our Shoebox Packing Party products!
And now for those most famous word in motorsports… Drivers! Start… Your… Engines!!
Beasley’s latest adventure took us to Texas Motor Speedway to watch our first NASCAR race, the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300!
After wandering around the merchandise trailers and winning several free prizes along the way, we stepped through the gates and went in search of our seats. Donning our ear protection, which included a small pair for Beasley, we watched at the NASCAR Cup drivers posted qualifying laps around the track for their race the next day. It was quite exciting! And loud! Of course, the best part of all was Beasley seeing her favorite drivers, Joey Logano and Brad Keslowski, zooming around the track!
Before we knew it, the race began and things really got exciting! Restarts, spin-outs, crashes, lead-changes… the list goes on and on. Beasley cheered along with the rest of us each time her favorite Xfinity driver, Erik Jones, led the restart!
During the race, Beasley munched on a giant wrap and mini bag of potato chips purchased from Buc-ee’s before the race! Simply put, it was delicious!
With a great view of the end of Pit Road, between the Start/Finish line and Turn 1, Beasley saw all of the exciting action that comes with pit stops during the race. Even better, was the enormous screen called Big Hoss which showed fans what was happening around the track.
Needless to say, one of the best parts of the night was when Erik Jones won the race -Hooray! There were even fireworks to celebrate the big win!
One last photo before leaving the track – Beasley holding her ear muffs on the Texas Motor Speedway sign. What a great race!
What will Beasley’s next adventure be? Stay tuned for more…
From start to finish, it was so much fun to create these 23 precious shoeboxes using the profits from our Shoebox Packing Party product sales. which is where ItsMadeCreatively’s 23 shoeboxes went in 2016!
ItsMadeCreatively’s own mascot, little Beasley was spotted at the local Collection Center for Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes during National Collection Week!
First, she posed in front of the giant map on the wall that shows which countries have received shoeboxes from the Dallas/Fort Worth Processing Center over the past 3 years. It’s a pretty awesome sight to see!
Next, she held her own mini shoebox while sitting on and surrounded by thousands of shoeboxes that had already been dropped off at the Collection Center!
Then she took a closer look at the Collection Center’s Christmas tree, which was decorated with “OCC” letter ornaments, ItsMadeCreatively’s shoebox plane ornaments and many photos of children receiving Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. Our favorite photo is the one showing a group of elephants transporting cartons of shoeboxes to a remote village!
Halloween is only two weeks away but someone here at ItsMadeCreatively already has her costume on and pumpkin candy bucket at-the-ready! It’s Beasley and she wants to wish all of our fabulous fans a happy and safe Halloween!
This year, her costume is a red sequin princess dress, complete with matching red hair bow and lace fan. As you can tell, she has already managed to collect several pieces of candy in her bucket (let’s be honest, who could resist such an adorable little bear?).
The final round of Friday night drag races at Texas Motor Speedway was tonight and we were there, volunteering at an information table for Operation Christmas Child. It’s been a long, hot 6 weeks but worth it since we were able to introduce OCC to quite a few first-timers.
Next to one of the display shoeboxes on the table was Beasley! This shoebox is for a 10-14 year old girl and has so many great items: sewing kit, school supplies, jump rope, lamb, hygiene items, sunglasses, slinky and more!
Round 5 of the Friday night drag races at Texas Motor Speedway was tonight. Once again, we volunteered at an information table for Operation Christmas Child at the speedway in +100 degree heat! Pedestrian traffic was slightly slower than previous weeks but we still managed to introduce several people to Operation Christmas Child!
Beasley posed for a photo in front of the brand-new Buc-ee’s fuel station that just opened across the road from the speedway. That place is huge!!
A senior living community held an Operation Christmas Child shoebox packing party this afternoon and we were there to help set-up and host the party. We brought a Christmas tree, Shoebox Bingo, red and green tablecloths and a few boxes of items for them to put in their shoeboxes. All of the red-and-green GO boxes that they had folded and ready-to-fill were stacked on a table that we decorated with our Shoebox Banner, “Packed With Love”.
We started off the party with three rousing games of Shoebox Bingo with the wonderful residents who came to fill the shoeboxes. Pulling items out one-at-a-time from the storage tub, we called them out to the ladies as they marked the bingo spots with bottle caps. Each person who got a bingo chose an item as a prize which they put into the first shoebox they packed! They loved playing Shoebox Bingo!
Next, the residents lined up and made their way around the tables, filling their shoebox with the wonderful items they had collected and we had donated to the party. From sewing kits with fabric to school supplies, hygiene items and small toys, there were so many great items available! Each shoebox got a Christmas card which had been signed by the residents earlier in the week. All of the shoeboxes packed at the party were for girls aged 10-14 years.
All-in-all they ended up filling 68 shoeboxes which beat last year’s total of 63 shoeboxes by 5! Hip hip hooray! The ladies were so excited about Operation Christmas Child, they want to start knitting and crocheting washcloths and other items for next years shoeboxes right away! We boxed up the leftover party items, packed all of the shoeboxes into cartons which we will hold in storage until National Collection Week arrives.
Oh, and Beasley was spotted in the Christmas tree that we set up and decorated for the party!
It’s Friday night again and where are we at? Texas Motor Speedway to volunteer at an information table for Operation Christmas Child during the speedway’s Friday night drag races. Without a cloud in the sky, the Texas summer heat was definitely intense but that didn’t keep fans from coming to see the races and also the Jeep club with nearly 400 Jeeps that came to parade around the track! It was quite a sight.
Beasley posed for a photo on the corner of our item donation box which received nearly school supplies, a pair of sunglasses and nearly 35 Hot Wheels cars to put in shoeboxes. Awesome!
Several ladies came over to the table and wanted multiple OCC brochures to pass along to the friends and family members and to also try and get their church involved in packing shoeboxes.
Three Legends race cars were parked right next to our information table this week but our favorite, by far, was the Captain America car #25.
This week at church, Vacation Bible School featured a ministry each day and guess which ministry was chosen for Thursday? Operation Christmas Child!
We set up a fabulous-looking information table in the foyer with lots of great information about how to get involved with OCC and of course, displayed our GIANT shoebox! As part of Vacation Bible School, kids brought empty shoeboxes which will be available during National Collection Week for those who need a shoebox to fill. Guess how many empty shoeboxes were collected during the week . . . 208! It took 6 shipping cartons to hold them all!
Also on Thursday, “Operation Christmas Child day”, during craft time the kids assembled over 500 salvation bracelets to put in shoeboxes! Wow. After making a bracelet, the kids gathered in the theater room to watch an OCC video and learn more about where shoeboxes go and the impact they have on a child’s life. They all loved to see the kid’s faces as they opened their shoebox and held up their favorite item! Beasley was spotted on the Audiovisual computer desk in the theater helping test run the video before the first group of kiddos arrived. Check out her new “OCC” red and green outfit!
As a “thank you” to the co-ordinator of VBS for letting OCC be one of the featured ministries, we gave her this cute gift. Inside this adorable red gift sack with glittery green tissue paper was an OCC t-shirt, pen, window decal and shoebox scripture treasures box. She loved it! We can’t wait to see what next year’s VBS will bring . . .
